In short
Enter the date your residence visa expired or was cancelled and pick your visa category. The calculator counts the days after the grace period ends and multiplies them by AED 50, the daily fine ICP publishes. For a Dubai family residence, GDRFA gives a 60-day grace period.
Good to know
- No official cap on overstay fines is published by GDRFA, ICP or u.ae, so this estimate has no maximum.
- Paying fines through GDRFA Dubai has no service fee; only the fines are paid.
- A GDRFA departure permit costs AED 241 and needs all fines paid first. GDRFA does not say when it is required, so we check.
- Day counts can differ by a day from the official system. The GDRFA record is final.
How this estimate works
- Days since expiry or cancellation = today minus the expiry date.
- Fines start the day after the grace period ends (ICP), so days over = days since expiry minus the grace period.
- Fine = days over × AED 50 (ICP fine schedule).
- Visit visas are not covered: no official page we checked states their grace period.
