In short
Choose who you want to sponsor and enter your monthly salary. To sponsor a spouse or children, ICP, GDRFA and u.ae all set a minimum of AED 4,000 a month, or AED 3,000 plus accommodation. For parents, GDRFA Dubai asks for a salary of at least AED 10,000, an attested tenancy contract and three months of bank statements, and a committee reviews each case.
Good to know
- Spouse and children: AED 4,000 a month, or AED 3,000 plus accommodation (ICP, GDRFA, u.ae). Housing must suit the family size.
- Sons can be sponsored up to age 25, unmarried daughters at any age, and children with special needs at any age.
- If the mother is the sponsor, GDRFA asks for a no-objection letter from the father.
- Parents: GDRFA humanitarian route, minimum AED 10,000 salary, attested tenancy contract, 3 months of bank statements, committee review, AED 5,000 deposit per approved request (AED 15,000 maximum), 1-year renewable residence.
- Family members aged 18 and over need a medical fitness test.
How this estimate works
- Spouse or children: your salary is compared with AED 4,000, or AED 3,000 when accommodation is provided.
- Sons must be under 25 and daughters unmarried, unless the child has special needs.
- Parents: your salary is compared with AED 10,000, and the two documents GDRFA asks for are checked.
- A committee decision, housing suitability and the rest of the file are not something a calculator can judge, so we review those with you.
